"The egg nog scone had morsels of tantalizing cranberries. The tea ware was exquisitely opulent. The tea service includes a pot of tea, scone, one sandwich choice and dessert. (if I could change one thing, would be to offer more than one choice) The ambience was delicate with jazzy music playing in the background. Subdued lighting from the sunny afternoon peaked through the windows. The perfect venue for an afternoon break from all the shopping. The venue accommodates a table for 6, a table for 4 and a table for 2 indoors at one time. And there are four tables in the patio. This place is perfect for lady gathering. Or an afternoon date. I ordered the "Noel" flavor, this tea had an oaky finish with hints of savory that hits your palate in the front. It is served hot (but you have a choice of cold, although I would not recommend that) I chose the succulent and palatable tuna curry sandwich. And I was given at least 5 choices for dessert, I chose the lemon bundt mini cake. It was so much food, the mini cake came home with me. I will definitely return to try the other sandwich and desserts. They are European vs Victorian, wearing a hat is optional. Donna was prompt in offering a 1pm appt. and perfectly frank about the establishment's busiest times over the phone. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Dress code- it's a tea house don't dress frumpy. Everyone visiting that afternoon wore dressy Christmas classy which added to the festive Decorum. Cutlery was impeccably clean and quaint."

"We walked in and were told it was reservations only, which we did not have. (online it states they are strongly recommended. Nowhere does is state they are required). They did give us a seat outside. Our server whom I unfortunately forgot the name of, is wonderful, she made us feel welcome after initially getting the vibe that we weren't. We opted to do the afternoon tea for 2. It was absolutely delightful. I've read a couple reviews saying service is slow. I will say, yes it is slower than your average restaurant, but it's not a fast food establishment or a typical eatery. Enjoying a tea service like they offer should be an experience, taken slowly and enjoyed with good conversation with whomever you have with you. For me that was my pre-teen son who really enjoyed everything as well, and suggested we go back again soon."

"The place is cute and our waiter was kind. However, it would be helpful to get the food menu or know what's in the food ahead of ordering. I made the mistake of not asking what's in the food with the assumption that they're made a certain way. So, if you have any food allergies or intolerances, ask first. Great selection of tea and the food preparation was lovely!"

"Today my granddaughters and I went to the “All things tea” and we had there wonderful making our way through the 5 pots of tea and a single tower they offer. I normally look forward to the cucumber sandwiches but today I had a curry sandwich that was amazing. The staff was wonderfully and we look forward to returning when my girls get home from college on their next break."

"Vast selection of fresh loose leaf teas. The Moroccan tea was delicious and refreshing. If dining in, they have clean ceramic pots and cups. Good selection of sweets, if one wants, accompanied by fresh fruit and sweet cream. Patio is cozy and lets in just the right amount of sun. There's seating indoors, too. Wait staff is fantastic."

"One of the hardest things about moving away from Camarillo is leaving this place behind. Whenever we are in Camarillo we stop in to restock on my Darjeeling Autumnal (my personal favorite). They feature an array of all things related to tea brewing and the owner is fully capable of answering questions you never even thought you had about her teas…first harvest second harvest, brew times. If coffee isn’t your thing you really need to stop in here for a nice cuppa. If you are so inclined, you can gather a group of friends and sit and have tea with their delicious baked scones or other baked treats and make an event out of it. I never did that but I’ve seen other groups do this and it’s an attractive idea."

"I loved the food and tea! Everything was delicious. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive. $50 per person for food and tea not too bad for all the things it came with. I'm taking a star away because of the ambience. Wish it felt more like a home. It seems like they were in a rush to open and didn’t decorate much. Also, as soon as we walked in it smelled like plumbing/bathroom. It was really offputting. I'm not sure if the smell went away or we got used to it...I do think I'll be back but I hope they create a better ambiance and turn on a candle!"

"Every time I visit this gem tbe food is consistently great! Donna is extremely knowledgeable about tea and has created her own wonderful line including the immunity tea which was spectacular. The quiche is the best I have ever tasted. The tuna curry sald is a delicious light entree. Followed up with the creme de la creme flourless chocolate cake which was delightful! Donna is a great and hospitable hostess. Cant wait to go back!"
